Professional ethics are the basis of the work we do. Honesty and strict principles, as well as clear communication, are a natural part of our corporate culture. We believe in sustainable and bi-lateral reliable partnerships, which guarantee such a long-term relationship.

We buy our products responsibly. All our products are purchased transparently in accordance with international and European standards and regulations.

We play an active role in shaping trade and we are a member of the Belgian and German Timber Trade Federation, as well as one of the founders of the ‘IQS’ (Initiative Qualitäts Sperrholz) . IQS is an initiative of the German importers who want to unite and guarantee the quality and the agreed standards within the plywood trade.

We know the supply chain from the forest to the final destination of the customer. Fepco has embraced the EUTR regulation, adopted by the European Union in March 2013 to guarantee the legal distribution chain in the EU. Sustainable and legal timber trade has always been close to our hearts and our way of working.

Our main suppliers in Indonesia are able to grant the coveted EU FLEGT license as part of the VPA (Voluntary Partnership Agreement) issued under the EU FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade) action plan. The FLEGT Action Plan was launched in 2003. Its aim is to reduce illegal logging by strengthening sustainable and legal forest management, improving governance, and promoting trade in legally produced timber.
